Whimsy, Wildlife, and a Little Bit of Chaos

ree

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to juggle painting dreamy woodland creatures , assembling pieces for handmade jewelry, planning a loved one's birthday party, wrangling back-to-school supplies, AND holding down a full-time job—let me tell you: it’s a lot like herding squirrels. Except the squirrels are wearing party hats and demanding cupcakes.

Somehow, in the middle of this delightful chaos, I’m also preparing for my upcoming art exhibition. (Because why not throw another plate into the circus act, right?).

My paintings, as some of you may know, live in that whimsical space where animals secretly rule the world: foxes in bogs, otters chasing dragonflies, bears sighing under the moonlight. They are my way of sprinkling a little bit of hope and cheer into the everyday—tiny painted reminders that even when life feels like a juggling act on a unicycle, there’s still magic hiding in the small moments, if only you are willing to open your eyes and look.

The exhibition will be a celebration of that magic: warm colors, soft smiles, and creatures that remind us not to take ourselves too seriously. I like to imagine visitors leaving with lighter hearts, maybe even humming to themselves, as if a robin whispered a joke in their ear.

So yes, between birthday balloons, last-minute art-supply/packaging/etc shopping, late-night painting sessions, and the occasional “oh no, where’s the missing paint tube?!” panic, I’m working to bring you a show filled with joy, color, and whimsy.

If you’re in need of a little hope, a lot of cuteness, and maybe some proof that chaos can still be beautiful—my paintings that are taking part of this exhibition are for you.

Keep on dreaming 💖
