I have always loved chemistry. And I was really good at it, hell I even studied chemical engineering for few years in university, before changing and majoring in electrical engineering. There is something so fascinating, mysterious and beautiful about the the transformation that occurs when adding different elements together,

Copper flame (30x40cm)

It's only fitting, that it's also something that manages to inspire me and my art even though I have managed to forget the majority of the formulas and laws that I learnt almost 20 years ago.

About "Copper flame" :

A flame test is an analytical procedure used in chemistry to detect the presence of certain elements, primarily metal-ions, based on each element's characteristic flame emission spectrum. The characteristic colour of the flame for the copper is bluish-green for example.
